Welcome to IIAGC

The Independent Insurance Agents of Genesee County (IIAGC) was founded in 1951 to educate not only independent agents but also local communities by focusing on fire and accident prevention. Today, our goal is to provide a way to network within our community, meet fellow insurance agents, and learn how best to benefit our customers and communities. Membership meetings cover current, high-interest topics relevant to our agents and their customers. We cover everything from current trends, to leadership, to continuing education on new insurance standards/practices.

Community Support

Our organization is not only about learning. We are all about giving back too. Throughout the course of the year, we host fundraising events, including our annual golf outing (which many say is their favorite golf outing of the year) and our CSR Appreciation Luncheon in December. We are all impacted by and part of the communities around us, so we take time twice a year to give back to those around us. Funds raised from these events are donated to organizations like the Sound the Alarm campaign (American Red Cross), Project Graduations (local high schools), and Toys for Tots.
